Militza, nice work. Very well presented, informative and concise.
I remember the 1967 earthquake very well. It was very scary because my sister and I were alone in the apartment watching "El Observador Creole". When we realized what was happening, we hugged tightly and started to pray. Shortly after the erthquake my father got home "in a state" fearing for his two little girls. Thank God nothing bad happened to us on that awful evening, but it was a very sad day because a lot of Venezuelans lost their lives.
This Weblog was created to assist you with our English 8 class, and to provide some useful links and information on the subject. On this blog you will find some homework assignments and you can post your comments and/or questions as well as exchange tips and ideas.
Remember to always check this site before you come to class to see if any new updates are added and to make sure you are prepared for class. We will be working together as a team with a common goal. That goal is to be the best that we can be in the pursuit of acquiring English as a second language.
