Canaima
Come and visit Canaima, Venezuela's biggest National Park, located in the south of Bolivar State. Go through “La Gran Sabana” (The Great Plain), inside Canaima, which has flat top mountains called "Tepuy", from which birth beautiful waterfalls like the Kerepakupai-merú (Angel Fall), the highest in the world. Enjoy its spectacular landscapes that you won’t see anywhere else in the world. Take a shower in any of its many wonderful rivers. Take an excursion to the top of Roraima, the highest Tepuy with an altitude of 2700 meters, and don’t miss Canaima lagoon, where many small waterfalls flow into, value the color red of the water and light pink of the sand produced by the abundance of minerals.
Also, you should be able to exercise meanwhile you get there because, if you chose to navigate upstream the Carrao and then the Churun rivers, you should have to walk for an hour to arrive to the base of the falls. But, you should get there by air if you prefer an easier way to travel.
We recommend you to take bugs cream or repellent to protect yourselves against bugs, and wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Without doubts, you will enjoy the trip from the beginning to the end, and it’s sure that you will never forget this amazing experience.

Venezuela has many wonderful places to visit. Here, it is always summer,
but a big one, we have the Amazonas state, with its tropical jungles,
savannas and mountains, Tepuys and water falls, rivers, indigenous people,
indigenous handcrafts, amazing flora and fauna.
That is a great place for adventurous people who love to explore
nature because the Amazonas is 90% of their surface is jungle,
their climate is hot and humid.
With four National Parks:
La Neblina National Parks: 1.360.000 hectares located south of Amazonas State. In this Park, you can find Tapirs, jaguars and other species, and reptiles like Anaconda.
Duida Marahuaca National Park: with an area of 210.000 hectares, and between 250 to 2.280 meters of altitude. This park it is in the center of
Macizo Guayanes and you can find much kind of animals and flora
Parima Tapirapeco National Park: It is the largest national park in Venezuela has an extension of 3.900.000 hectares and an altitude of 100 to 2.500 meters above sea level.
Yapacana National Park: is located in the plains of Casiquiare. It covers an area of 320.000 hectares and has a altitude of 75 to 1.345 meters.

WELCOME TO LAGUNAZO GREAT LAKE CAMP!!
VISIT A SUMMER RESIDENTIAL CAMP IN VENEZUELA
Camp Lagunazo was founded in 1994, and it is situated in Tinaquillo, Venezuela, nearest Valencia International Airport, to 45 min. by car. Here you and your family can relax and walk or ride in middle of naturals ways, breathing the most pure air and enjoy the green colours of valley.
So that, we want to offer you, now when children have left school, and if you need to take vacations, campers a three week traditional Summer Camp experience, even though campers may also stay for shorter periods of time, as one or two weeks.
Each camper can be in a cabin group with others of the same age and sex, and all of the cabins have air conditioning and hot water. A counsellor lives with each group of campers and supervises all facets of the Camp experience. Each day you are able to enjoy the cabin choice programs with options as limitless as the interests of the campers in each cabin.
A great lake surrounded by pine trees is our pride. In it you will find canoes, sport fishing and water skiing. You can enjoy a lot here!!!

We have for sure a lot of great and varied places to visit. Venezuela is beautiful all over, but Los Roques and Canaima are unique in the whole wide world. However, I would love to visit Bailadores and Lagunazo Great Lake Camp... Trina´s and Nestor´s descriptions were very motivating. Lucy has to lower down her tour prices or she will lose a lot potential visitors :)
